Hooray, it’s Monday! Not your usual response to the start of the week? Well maybe that’s because you haven’t had The Cosmic Photo Challenge to brighten your day.
Today we’re taking a look at those entries, exits and throughways which could be described as; Portals.
I was in town on Saturday, in the glorious sunshine, where I captured a baker’s dozen of doors, windows, gates and arcades, including a portal to a world of musical discoveries; the wonderful Discovery Records, run by local legend, Matt “the hat” Poulton.

What exciting entrances did you find for us at the weekend..?

To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.
Tag your posts with #CosPhoChal.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.
These are some great doors!

What an array! I like that colourful passage, the clinker with the teal window frames – I would love to take a walk down this walkway …

I especially liked the colorful side street entrance in the fourth from the bottom photo that has a connection between both sides of the street that one has to walk under to get in.

Yes, that’s a really nice walkway, thank you, Frank. I like the moulded clay decorations on this style of local building.
