Bbbrrrrrrrr! It’s f-f-f-f-f-freezing, which I suppose is only right since this week The Cosmic Photo Challenge is inspired by the prompt; The big freeze.
I wrapped up warm and went for a brief and extremely bracing walk yesterday morning, in the unusually snowy countryside just round the corner from home.

It’s only minus two, but that’s way too cold for my liking. We hardly ever get snow here, because the southwest of the UK is warmed by the gulf stream.

Although winter is cold it can be beautiful. I especially liked the perspective close to the ground of the ice with the sun in the distance through the clouds.

Breathtaking pictures!!! When I am dressed properly, I love being outside in winter. But I hate wearing layers. So inside is usually my choice.

I absolutely HATE being cold, so it’s unfortunate that we’re currently in the process of moving premises at work. Emptying two large workshop units, with all the stock, machines, fixtures and fittings, on the coldest week of the year, in the snow, with a horrible cold I caught from my daughter at the weekend.
Today I was wearing 8 layers.
