I went for a walk on Saturday morning and captured some bursts of new colour in the fields and gardens around Rotherfield village.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Lights, camera, action.

Good morning, everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend and that you’re now ready for The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which this week is based on the prompt; Lights, camera, action.

As I admitted when I posted the theme on Friday, this week’s challenge was a bit of a dealers choice, because I already knew the photos I’d be using.

Melody and I went to see the excellent Wille And The Bandits in Exeter last Thursday and the shots I captured met the “lights” part of the brief so nicely, I couldn’t resist setting the prompt accordingly.

Hello again, it’s time to set this week’s theme on The Cosmic Photo Challenge and I think I should say right now that I have an ulterior motive for making today’s prompt; Lights, camera, action.

You can pick whichever elements you like for your inspiration (obviously cameras will be involved), so anything featuring light or lights and all kinds of action shots can be included.

Hello there, how are you all on this fine Monday morning? All the better for seeing The Cosmic Photo Challenge is here to welcome you to a new week, I’m sure.

This week’s prompt is a season preview, so to speak; First hints of Spring.

I took a walk through the woods in Whiddon Valley, where I captured some early Spring flowers and the carpet of wild garlic along the riverbanks.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Portals.

Hooray, it’s Monday! Not your usual response to the start of the week? Well maybe that’s because you haven’t had The Cosmic Photo Challenge to brighten your day.

Today we’re taking a look at those entries, exits and throughways which could be described as; Portals.

I was in town on Saturday, in the glorious sunshine, where I captured a baker’s dozen of doors, windows, gates and arcades, including a portal to a world of musical discoveries; the wonderful Discovery Records, run by local legend, Matt “the hat” Poulton.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, here’s your Cosmic Photo Challenge prompt for this week.

For Monday’s post, I’d like to see some images which illustrate the theme of; Portals.

So, to clarify; any kind of doors, windows, gates, stiles, tunnels and bridges qualify, and of course if you know the whereabouts of a glowing eldritch portal to another dimension, that would also be allowed.
