Good morning, I hope you had a good weekend, now it’s time to let the pictures do the talking on The Cosmic Photo Challenge.
Today’s theme might be a little prosaic, but not all challenges have to be glamorous and after all, where would you all be without; The ground beneath your feet?
My shots were all captured on my morning walks in the countryside, where I chose to document the surfaces of the various lanes and pathways that make up my regular route.

What discoveries did you make as you were looking down this week..?

To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.
Tag your posts with #CosPhoChal.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge
I really like these. i’m afraid I did not take theme so literally, but I like what you did here.

I especially liked the curve of light in the distance in the 3rd photo from the bottom. Nice views from low on the ground.

Yes, thanks, I liked that, too. I didn’t notice that curve matched the road until I’d taken it
