Good morning, welcome to this bank holiday edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which today is based on the prompt; Over the bridge.
There are a lot of rivers and streams in Barnstaple, so there are a correspondingly high number of bridges, big and small.

Now let’s see where you found a crossing to capture…

To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.
Tag your posts with #CosPhoChal.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge
I love bridges, this is a wonderful variety.

That’s just a tiny fraction, I think I could post different bridges every week for a year, hahaha

I like those bridges over streams that a woodland trail leads one across. Where there is water and a path, one needs a bridge over it.

No matter how often I have subscribed to the Cosmic Challenge in the past weeks or months – I still don’t get any notifications of your posts. Last week with the grandchildren visiting I missed it completely. They left yesterday and today I noticed that something was missing … I was so keen to join that I forgot the title. Well, I did cross that bridge after all, it now has a title but not in the link https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2026/04/07/97932/ – I dare you to cross here.

I really don’t understand that, as far as I know nobody else has had an issue with notifications. Have you tried getting the Happiness Engineers on the case?

Not yet. The name alone gives me the heeby-jeebies. But I might if it persists.
