Good morning, I hope life finds you well on this lovely Spring day, which is now hopefully improved by the arrival of The Cosmic Photo Challenge and today’s theme; A river runs through it.
We’re talking rivers, streams, canals, any sort of waterway, but even lakes and ponds are welcome, along with their surroundings.
I took a walk around the communal woodland which runs through my neighborhood, where a stream (the delightfully named “Coney Gut”, a tributary of the River Taw) winds its way amongst the wild garlic and wood anemones.

Where did your search for watery images take you at the weekend..?

What are the white flowers?
The wood anemones?
They almost look like water lilies, but not in the water.

I love trails through the woods with a river nearby. I especially liked the photo of that large tree acting like a kind of bridge over the river.

Thanks, Frank. I think that tree trunk is currently acting as a temporary bridge for local kids, as the actual bridge further upstream is closed for repairs
