Hello, welcome to the very last Cosmic Photo Challenge of 2025, where we are rounding up; The best of the rest.
This is an exercise in sweeping up the shots which might not have qualified for any of this year’s challenges, but which you think are worth sharing, nonetheless.
So here, in no particular order, are a few images which, for one reason or another, caught my eye this year.

I wish you all the most prosperous, healthy and happy new year, but for now let’s see your hidden treasures…

To get involved with the challenge; check out the Cosmic Photo Prompt each Friday, then post a photo (or photos) on your blog the following Monday, with a pingback link to my Monday post.
Tag your posts with #CosPhoChal.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages, animation, gifs, or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.
That little one playing the guitar is adorable!
What is that on the beach in the 5th image?

Just sand on the beach, the tidal flows mould it that way

I like that goblin peeping out from the shadows. And I have the same question as Dawn – what is that on the beach?

That’s just the sand, moulded into those shapes by the tidal flow

I especially liked the way the sand formed on the shore in the fifth photo (although that might have been man made).

That seems to be a popular shot, the way the tide has moulded the sand
