Hello, welcome to Monday and this week’s edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which is based on the prompt; What’s flowering where you are?
I captured all my shots in our garden, which is starting to look quite colourful.

How did your floral safari go at the weekend..?

That fuchsia is called “Army Nurse”, if you’re interested. ;~}

What an interesting name for a flower. I googled and found out it was first noted in 1947 in California, and was named to honour the profession: being considered strong and sturdy. It’s sold with the English name in Germany (which apparently usually the case as names are generally not translated).

I believe it’s named for the dual colour nurses uniforms of the time
