The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Intentional camera movement.

This week’s edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge is brought to you by the prompt; Intentional camera movement.

There are many ways in which moving the camera mid-capture can alter the resulting image, so I decided to think outside the box and revisit a couple of techniques I’ve used before.

With the camera attached safely to my windscreen, it was certainly moving in relation to everything outside; while experimenting with mirrors and panoramic settings again was…well, predicably peculiar.

Now it’s time to share your out of focus fun…

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: From an interesting angle.

Welcome to The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend, mine seems to have flown by without me noticing.

A couple of weeks ago Audrey was decluttering her bedroom and I snagged a selfie stick she’d never used, because it might come in useful and who doesn’t want another gadget?

It would come in very useful, for instance, if you wanted to take photos; From an interesting angle, which just happens to be this week’s prompt.

So I went for a very pleasant walk around Rock Park in the winter sunshine and did a one man photo shoot.

What kind of tangent did you find yourself on this week?

It’s so easy to join in, just follow these simple steps…

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Faces.

On Friday, for this week’s optical adventure on The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I asked you to consider the prompt; Faces.

I experimented with interesting ways of using the panoramic feature on my phone’s camera, giving some rather unusual results.

Each of these was taken using a single exposure.

Do you have anything less nightmare-inducing to share with us?
