Today I’m going to squeeze the last autumnal photos out of you, as we seem to have reached the optimal time for colourful foliage; Let’s hear it for the leaves.

This week on The Cosmic Photo Challenge I asked you to provide images inspired by the prompt; Interesting textures.

I decided to go for the artistic option and transformed three ordinary pictures of a whicker basket, some metal shavings and the grain of a piece of wood…

…into these metamorphic 3D illusions of themselves.

The weather was a bit grey for most of the weekend, but there were a few nice clouds, along with a clear night to take one more long exposure of star trails and some…artistic licence with a rainbow outside work last week.

Hello, I hope your week has gone smoothly and you are all looking forward to a relaxing weekend. But before that, let’s give you this week’s inspiration for The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

For today’s prod in the direction of photographic fun, I’d like you to capture images of; Silhouettes and shadows.

As the nights draw in, there should be plenty of opportunities to illustrate that prompt, even with some of us getting an extra hour of sleep when the clocks going back on Saturday night.
