Cosmic Photo prompt.

As we head towards the end of another week, The Cosmic Photo Challenge is here to give you something creative to do on your days off.

This week that takes the form of a suggestion to capture some images which are; Taken from below.

Have a great weekend, catch y’all again on Monday.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge, part two: Wide open spaces.

Hello again, I’m here to finally add my own pictures to this week’s challenge, which was based on the theme of; Wide open spaces.

Thank you for all your messages of support, I had a bit of a glitch with my IBS medication, a long drive and possibly some input from a grouchy prostate, all of which conspired to put me in hospital for 12 hours yesterday.

Long, uncomfortable story, short; I had to have a catheter fitted for a week and was instructed to change my IBS meds, but today I was sufficiently recovered to take a careful stroll on Ashdown Forest to capture the landscape Winnie The Pooh called home.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Wide open spaces.

Hello, welcome to The Cosmic Photo Challenge, although not the one I’d hoped for.

This week’s prompt was; Wide open spaces.

However, I have managed to land myself in hospital, 250 miles from home and without having had a chance to take any photos. So I’ll either sit this one out or post my pictures later in the week.

As for the rest of you, please carry on as usual and normal service will be resumed next week.

Thank you.

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Well it’s another rainy Friday, but fear not, The Cosmic Photo Challenge is here to let the light of inspiration into your weekend.

Today the prompt is going to get us all out in the fresh air to capture those; Wide open spaces.

Pretty self-explanatory I think, so I’ll leave you to add your own unique spin to the photos for Mondays show and tell.

Have a lovely weekend and I’ll see y’all on the other side.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Bare trees.

Another weekend gone in a flash, but with The Cosmic Photo Challenge to restart your week, Mondays aren’t so bad.

This week we were out searching for Bare trees and I was spoilt for choice, on my misty but not unpleasant wander around Rock Park in Barnstaple, yesterday afternoon.

The dogwood stems really pop in the grey winter light

How did your mission go, seeking out au naturale arboreal models for your weekend’s homework?

Come on, show us, we’re very friendly and we’d love you to join in…

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Hello, good evening and welcome to this week’s prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Now it feels like the slightest possibility of Spring might conceivably be just around the next couple of corners, it’s nearly the last chance to capture; Bare trees.

I love a good tree silhouette, bare or otherwise, so I’ll enjoy this one, I hope you have a good weekend searching for some defoliated inspiration, too.

See you all on Monday.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Water, water everywhere.

Here we are again, meeting The Cosmic Photo Challenge on a Monday morning, after spending the weekend capturing; Water, water everywhere.

It wasn’t too much of a challenge for me, as I completely failed to avoid the rain on my walk round the local country lanes yesterday.

How did your photographic treasure hunt go?

I’m going for a universal theme this week, since we’ve had rather a lot of it round here recently; Water, water everywhere.

I apologize if you live in an arid desert, hopefully there’s an oasis nearby.

Have a great weekend, see you for a waterlogged Monday.

Time once again for The Cosmic Photo Challenge to give you some inspiration for the weekend’s photographic adventures.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Shades of grey.

That’s another wet weekend done and dusted and The Cosmic Photo Challenge is here to continue the theme with; Shades of grey.

I was sitting in the shed listening to the rain on Saturday when something alighted (heavily) on the roof. I poked my camera over the door frame and… Oops, one startled pigeon.

Removing the colours really focuses in on the shape and form of things

And there aren’t too many things greyer than the moon.

What do you have to offer this monochrome Monday..?

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Good evening, here’s your prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge this week.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a pretty grey weekend here, so I’ll make the best of it by using one of our semi-regular themes; Shades of grey.

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you all back here on Monday.
