The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Autumn’s golden gown.

Well, hello there, welcome to a new week and a new edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which today is brought to you by the prompt; Autumn’s golden gown.

The woods at the National Trust’s Arlington Court are looking especially colourful at the moment, so I went there for a stroll and it was almost impossible to take a bad picture.

For anyone not familiar with the origin of today’s prompt, here’s the classic tune I pinched it from.

What did you capture for us over the weekend..?

Good evening, welcome to the Friday prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge, where this week we’re going to crowbar in one final seasonal theme to make the most of; Autumn’s golden gown.

The trees are still looking so fabulous at the moment, it seems a shame not to take advantage of their glorious colours for the sake of creativity.

So I’ll see you back here on Monday for one last autumnal show and tell, have a great weekend.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Reflections.

Ok, it’s a new week, let’s get it started in style with this week’s edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Today we’re looking for images to fit the simple prompt; Reflections.

Here are a few shots from the weekend, three of which feature the mirror-smooth surface of the river Taw in Barnstaple.

What got you in a reflective mood this week..?

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Happy Friday to you, now let’s see what The Cosmic Photo Challenge has for your weekend homework today.

With only a limited number of relatively bright and clear days left before we head into the season of mist and mellow fruitfulness, we’re looking for this year’s final batch of; Reflections.

So get out and find some mirror images for Monday’s post and I’ll see y’all on the other side.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: I can see for miles.

Hello there, welcome to another Monday edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which this week is based on the prompt; I can see for miles.

My four offerings were taken over the weekend, at Codden Hill near Barnstaple and Clovelly harbour, both of which have very fine views.

Where did you take the long view this week..?

Good evening, I hope you’ve all had a pleasant week, I’ve just popped in to give you your prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

For Monday’s post I’d like to see images reflecting the theme; I can see for miles.

So show us your panoramas, vistas and landscapes to start the week. In the meantime, have a great weekend and I’ll see y’all soon.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Autumn colour.

Once again we find ourselves at the start of the week, but never fear, The Cosmic Photo Challenge is here to brighten your day with the theme; Autumn colour.

Sadly, none of the weekend was very bright, but on Saturday I managed to dodge the rain and capture some dramatic shots around Valley of the Rocks, on the southwest coast path near Lynton.

What autumnal images do you have for us today..?

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Hello, here’s your slightly tardy prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week we’ll be capturing images which follow the seasonal theme of; Autumn colour.

Yes, it’s that time again, the trees are changing and the days are shortening, so get out there and find us some autumnal loveliness for Monday’s post.

Have a great weekend, see you all again soon.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Look to the skies.

Good morning, it’s time for The Cosmic Photo Challenge and this week’s theme; Look to the skies.

I seem to remember the last time we had this prompt was when the Northern Lights were visible across large parts of the UK and I completely failed to see any. Well over the weekend those two events coincided once again and once again I failed to see the slightest flicker.

Still, there have been some very fine skyscapes elsewhere recently, including a nice moody shot from Friday evening and one of a reflected wind turbine which is almost all sky.

What did you see when you looked up at the weekend..?

Cosmic Photo prompt.

Good morning, apologies for the lateness of your prompt this week on The Cosmic Photo Challenge, but better late than never.

For Monday’s post I’d like to see some images which follow the semi-regular theme of; Look to the skies.

Autumn can make for some spectacular sights overhead, so capture what you can and we’ll all meet back here in a couple of days, have a great weekend.
