The Cosmic Photo Challenge: The best of the rest.

That’s one more wet and windy weekend down the drain, but here to brighten your Monday is The Cosmic Photo Challenge, hurrah!

This week we’re taking stock of the year and rounding up; The best of the rest.

Now’s your chance to showcase some cool pictures you took this year, which didn’t fit the brief for any of the challenges, but you’d nevertheless like us to see them.

Here’s a collection of shots from days out, weekends away and just being out and about in the countryside over the last few months.

What were your greatest clicks this year..?

Good evening, welcome to the weekend, here’s your prompt for The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I think it’s about time to wrap up the year’s happy snapping with a bit of a free for all, where I ask you to show us; The best of the rest.

Which shots did you take this year that weren’t intended for the challenge, but you’d like everyone to see?

Or maybe your favourite shot of the whole year was inspired by the challenge and you’d like to share it again, the choice is yours.

So showcase your own personal faves from the last twelve months and let’s see what that extra dose of eclecticism injects into the mix for Monday’s post.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Festive illuminations.

Welcome back from the weekend, hopefully you’re all undamaged by the extremely unfriendly weather, just in time for The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

This week’s theme recognises the oncoming seasonal holidays with a round up of your local; Festive illuminations.

Luckily, storm Darragh had abated for long enough last night, for me to take a chilly walk round town and check out some of this year’s decorations.

What enlightening delights did you capture for us this week..?

Good evening, welcome to your Friday prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which this week focuses on; Festive illuminations.

The start of December seems to be the time for municipal Christmas lights to have their switching on ceremonies these days, so let’s celebrate creative festive light shows of all kinds for Monday’s post.

Have a great weekend, see y’all soon.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Bare branches.

Hello there, how was your weekend, not too wintery, I hope? Just enough that you could capture some Bare branches for this week’s edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I took a misty walk in the Sussex countryside on Saturday afternoon and found plenty of subjects to fit the bill.

Now let’s have a look at your bare essentials…

One more chilly Friday and another prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge for you.

I think we’re far enough into the year now, for me to choose one of my favourite subjects for this week’s theme; Bare branches.

You will probably have gathered that I’m a big fan of tree silhouettes, so I shall enjoy capturing images for Monday’s post.

Wrap up warm and have a great weekend.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: In my warm place.

Hello there, welcome to The Cosmic Photo Challenge, I hope you’re all ok and haven’t been blown away by storm Bert, which wreaked havoc across the UK at the weekend.

It certainly made a fine excuse not to leave the house for a couple of days, so I stayed; In my warm place.

When the weather is horrible and it’s cozy indoors, there’s nothing like curling up with a book and a cup of coffee while listening to good music, or even making some.

So along with catching up on the search for Stephen King’s Dark Tower in the company of Ms Hepburn and Mr Bowie, I composed a new tune to complement the meteorological conditions.

Where did you snuggle up at the weekend..?

Bbbrrrrrrr! It’s so cold, I don’t like it at all. This week on The Cosmic Photo Challenge it’s all about being; In my warm place.

Show us where you cozy up to keep the cold at bay, or maybe you’re lucky enough to be somewhere it’s comfortably warm anyway, let’s see where you go to escape the chill.

Have a great weekend, stay toasty.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Down in the park.

Another chilly Monday morning brings another warm virtual hug from The Cosmic Photo Challenge, with images to illustrate this week’s theme; Down in the park.

I visited Sheffield Park in Sussex at the weekend, which would have made the perfect candidate for last week’s reflections prompt, too, it’s absolutely gorgeous there at the moment.

Where did your photographic escapades take you at the weekend..?

Hello again, everyone, it’s time for your Friday prompt on The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Today we’re going to be looking for images that match the theme of; Down in the park.

Any public spaces, municipal areas or beauty spots are included in that definition, we’re a broad church here at the Cosmic Challenge, so get out there and capture some of your local views for Monday’s post.

Have a great weekend, see y’all soon.
