The Cosmic Photo Challenge: In the canopy.

Good morning to you, wherever you may be, I hope your weekend went well and you’re ready for The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which today is all about the trees. This week we’re featuring foliage photos, finding our inspiration; In the canopy.

It was a gloriously sunny weekend, so yesterday I dragged myself away from a cold cider in the garden long enough for a walk in the local woods. Wild garlic was in full bloom, carpeting the ground in dappled shade from vivid green beech and sycamore trees, the sound of a stream completing the peaceful scene perfectly.

I also took a few more of my “experimental” vertical panoramas, capturing the trees growing behind me arching overhead, which makes for an interesting perspective.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Inversions.

Happy bank holiday Monday to you all, I hope the Easter weekend went swimmingly and you’re enjoying the extra day off.

This week The Cosmic Photo Challenge is based on the prompt; Inversions.

I went out snapping early yesterday morning, without a clear idea of what I would do with my photos, but I had a flash of inspiration as I sat in the garden with a cider and I think they came out rather well.

I like the way the inverted half of each image makes it look like they’re not lined up straight, but they really are, honest.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: The arrival of Spring.

Another Monday, another chance to take part in The Cosmic Photo Challenge, which this week takes its inspiration from the prompt; The arrival of Spring.

Rhonda and I took a stroll round Arlington Court house and gardens yesterday afternoon (please go and check out most of the pictures I took HERE), where the Spring bulbs were in full bloom and there was a definite feeling of regeneration in the air.

Well, hello there, how y’all doing this fine Friday? It’s time to provide you with your homework for the weekend, by way of this week’s theme on The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

There was of course an Equinox on Wednesday, so I thought it was about time to officially welcome the new season in images, with; The arrival of Spring.

Yes, yes, I’m aware some of you are experiencing a completely different set of seasonal changes at the moment, so you may either document those in your post, or trawl your archives for some springtime pictures, the choice is yours.
