An aging hippy living in Devon, I do all this stuff (and I do mean everything - blog, animation, music, photography, the lot) on my lovely smartphone because I started like that, and now I'm too stubborn to get a computer. I don't have a theme, because I don't see why I'd want to talk about the same thing all the time, so why only write about one thing? So if you like eclecticism, humour, nonsense, opinionated ranting, and occasionally educational stuff, you've come to the right place. Hello, sorry I’m late (again), but now I’m here to give you your prompt for Mondays edition of The Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Since the year is getting on, I think it’s about time we stopped to smell the flowers, so this week’s theme is; Show us your bloomers.

I mean, flowers was the direction I was heading in, but maybe you’ve taken up making sourdough or sewing lingerie, who knows..?

Anyway, as ever the choice of how to interpret the prompt is entirely up to you, so I await the results with anticipation.

I went for a pleasant stroll in the woods just a few minutes from home and followed the river through drifts of wild garlic, celandine and wood anemones.

A new week brings a new Cosmic Photo Challenge and today’s theme is; Little and large.

As you’ll see from this post, I returned home to Sussex for a flying visit last week, where I found some large towers in the countryside and some very small sculptures on a friend’s mantlepiece.

This week on The Cosmic Photo Challenge we’re finally celebrating the arrival of a new season, because; It’s Spring!

I thought I was being hopelessly optimistic when I mentioned “sunshine photos” in Friday’s post, but yesterday was nice enough to sit out in the garden all day. I got out and about while the world was having a Sunday lie-in and captured that unique morning light.
