The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Up, down and sideways.

Hello, good morning and welcome to The Cosmic Photo Challenge on this fine Monday, let’s see what you have to fit the prompt; Up, down and sideways.

Three pictures, one taken in each of the relevant directions, simple.

My trio are; looking up at my huge Stargazer lilly in the garden; looking down at a hedgehog I heard wandering past in the dark when I was camping last week; and looking sideways at some wilting flowers, which I noticed looked rather good with the hats hanging behind them.

What did you find to capture over the weekend..?

  2. Those are all three wonderful photos. I especially liked the hats with the flowers. I have never seen a hedgehog before, but he is curled nicely. Although I’ve seen lilies before, I haven’t seen any colored like the one in your first photo.

    1. Thank you, I have hedgehogs in the garden sometimes, too, in fact I saw one at the weekend. The flowers wilted while I was away and the hats were just hung there for somewhere to put them, it wasn’t until Saturday that I noticed what a nice still life subject they made. ;~}

  4. A creative topic this week, and interesting photos too! We don’t have hedgehogs around here, so I would be very excited to see one in my yard! The hats & flowers are an unusual pairing, – I like the shabbiness of the hats on either side of a half-wilted vase of flowers!
